2/5.Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Viagra, Lipitor, Cialis, Nexium

www.encognitive.com In 1976, Henry Gadson, the CEO of Merck, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the US, was interviewed by Fortune magazine. During the interview, Gadson complained of having to limit his market to sick people. His dream, he said was to be able to “sell to everyone” and make Merck more like “Wrigley” the chewing gum company. Now thirty years later, as prescription and designer drugs become ever more prevalent, Mr.Gadson’s dream may have come true. In the four-hour special Warning Before You Take This Pill, Link TV will explore the question of whether we’ve become smarter patients or are just plain worried sick. Part 1 of the special features Selling Sickness, a compelling documentary that explores how drug companies today are not just selling medicine but also the diseases that go with them. Also featured are excerpts from Money Talks: Profits Before Patient Safety, a new film from Hummingbird Productions that offers an insider’s perspective from former pharmaceutical reps and doctors. During the special, Dr. Michael Steinman, Assistant Professor in Residence, Staff Physician, SFVAMC will be in discussion. Dr. Steinman has an active interest in pharmaceutical marketing practices and subtle ways that the industry may influence the prescribing behaviors of physicians. yea theres a difference between someone who got the shit beat out of them in their childhood and now are anxious and those who all the sudden just decided that they are anxious. ive been hearing voices for a few years and have had numerous delusions in the past and my pills help me function. just give them to people who cant function on their own

  9. conman2317 says:

@conman2317 you have nothing to loose, if you just try and practice but best of all commit to these principles.

You will loose money and earned effort if you try to find a miracle cure.

People want money and will take it from you if you’re looking for the easy way out.

  10. conman2317 says:

Anxiety is about you refusing to prepare for a social encounter, refusing to improvise, and refusing to be confident.

It is not hard at all to do any of these things, some people just don’t practice or face it.

If you’re to much of a pussy you look for a miracle to to do it for you. This will never happen, you must do it, practice and commit.

algrim your right, but theese drugs go thru a large system before they ever comes out on the market.

  12. AIgrim says:

Indeed, some meds are great but we have NO idea how pills affects the human body in long terms. We’ve only used ém in some decades.

  13. Kissa6669 says:

yeah, and you can fall in a trap of the chemically dumped anxiety that turns down your attention for the real problems you have – cause you feel alright and don’t think about them! So your problems remain unsolved and are covered by the candy haze of the drug.
The withdrawal symptoms – I would be ready to believe that these drugs are designed to cause them.

  14. Kissa6669 says:

Cause if your life situation changes for worse, the drug will have still some effect on you, but far less than in the beginning. So basically my advise is to get psychical and spiritual strenght. That’s where it’s in and that’s what they don’t want you to know. Those drugs are only for acute situations and certainly NOT to take for a lifetime.

  15. Kissa6669 says:

yeah, but how long were you taking it? Because I think that those drugs work as a placebo effect for a certain time, combined with a real push to the chemical processes in your brain. If you use this time of feeling good and get stronger psychically, you won’t need them anymore. After some years of using them you’ll get to some extend immune to them. So this is just a temporary solution.

drug – what are these doctors thinking?! This stuff is nasty and should ONLY be given to those who NEED it.

  24. icedevilz87 says:

    A few thoughts:
    * I noticed the man with the beard and earring who talks about withdrawal was shown with a 40mg dosage of Paxil. There is no way he could just ’stop’ taking that and expect to be fine. To get off that high a dose he would have to ramp-down over a series of months to a 5-10 mg dose, then stop.
    * To the poor woman suffering withdrawal from a 10 mg dosage – you were duped.
    * Having never seen a Paxil add, I had no idea how MANY people were self-diagnosing themselves and GETTING the
