@NoWattz I beleive this guy when he says…you created it. Sugar is in everything just about…you just had to monitor the sugar content of everything. People are just ignorant and think that they are invincible untill things happen to them. Be body healthy and food concious people, read labels.
An increasing number of genetic variants have been consistently found to contribute to the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Variants in the TCF7L2 gene appear to be associated with the highest risk of developing Type 2 diabetes, and also can predict the likelihood that a person will convert from a state of pre-diabetes to full-blown Type 2 diabetes. It is overwhelmingly obvious that genetics is a major factor in the development of type-2 diabetes. All you have to do is a little research.
@NoWattz Yeah listening when he speaks works. 8*) He was talking about Type 2 being created. Predisposition is more like Type 1.
@guitarobsessed85
diabetes is all about eating simple carbohydrates or sugars, eating for quick energy that was never used up.
Thank you doctor I like the way you explained it I have type 2 diabetes and yes I am changing the way I eat and very active it feels much better and I look and feel much better.
I have type 2 Diabets, but I also have PCOS, I know I have to watch my diet but
I still take an insulin shot. I can’t take metphormen b/c it makes me ill that is why I take the insulin shot it is called Byetta. What are your thoughts on this
I have reactive hypoglycemia and found out about a year ago. I would be out drinking alcohol partying with friends and my skin turned white as a peice of paper and felt lethargic and tired and lost all energy, one time I fell on my bed and blacked out. Thats when I really got scared and started having anxiety like symptoms. I am trying to banish alcohol from my life now and eat healthy and monitor my sugar level carefully to avoid diabetes
I have reactive hypoglycemia but exercise intensely 5 times a week. I eat enough to gain muscle. I eat complex carbs like oatmeal, and wheat pasta all the time. I don’t know how I became like this but I was starving during the summers, losing about 40 pounds each summer and then eating a lot to gain the weight back during school. All the while I was maintaining exercise. Summer I would run 5-10 miles daily and during school I lifted heavy. Could the periods of starvation start this?
Why are native americans so prone to it?
If you have any genetic connection to the native americans you are very likely to develop Type 2 diabetes. Even very fit and thin people develop it. Chiropractors are not doctors. There are chiropractors that don’t even have a high school diploma. Chiropractic school is more akin to trade school. Chiropractors do make a lot of money, a lot by selling crap that does not work, but gives the impression that it does. Usually food supplements, pillows, and other stuff.
He talked about this tipe of diabetes….
No it’s not too late. Your body needs to detoxify and that can take some time but be patient and stick with your healthy new lifestyle.
I get reactive hypoglycemia and take care of my body like a saint but.. I have had a past with tobacco and alchohol and cand adiction. Nothing serious but really used to intake these products im 27 and feel pre diabetic even though i take care of myseld. So the truth is once the damage is done to islet cells in your pancraeas it may be to late for tthe rest of your body.
Not only that dremextreme but he is one condescending bastard. Who would want to go see this schmuck? Look at the right column: he as a video titled “get off your ass”. How about “Stop being such an asshole, Dr. schmuck!” I swear some youtubers are really asking for it! (Dr. Ass: consider me your mirror & your teacher!)
oh and by the way.. you have what’s called reactive hypoglycemia. it’s something different than what most MD’s are familiar with
you should connect with me. I’ve worked on improving it much. If you don’t take control of it, it will control you.. I don’t black out but the shakes and fainty feeling are all too familiar. I’m doing much better now
Never give up hope!
Excellent informative video
sure. the vid just doesn’t imply that. hypoglycemia is not simply caused by the individual. It would be nice if it was that simple. It can be strongly genetic. to imply otherwise shadows an important portion of the truth. Many people do acquire these issues via poor diet. These people should start eating right. It does become irritating however when you’ve had this issue at the age of five and people still insist this only occurred because you ate poorly. It’s just not always the case.
@ dreamextreme7, you’re nothing more then a number, true some are born with it and then there’s the number who help create and escalate the problem…wouldn’t you agree that this is possible?!?
this is decieving. I have eaten better than most in my life. Being born with diabetes or hypoglycemia happens all the time. If he doesn’t know that, he doesn’t get it!
Thank You…Dr. Vince, may I post your videos on other channels linking to you?
Ohkay , I have tremors. Where my hands shake , sweaty, black outs, i get dizzy , and tired easily. My blood suger is low . My mother has me had peanutbutter on toast. My father has hypoglycemia and had his apendics removed for it i think?!?
and i might have it from his genes. I go to the doctors soon for school.
that’s because is hereditary disease , their parents or grandparents were eating junk food or lots of alcohol or bad things and now their babies will have to suffer all their life and die prematurely because they had a shitty life, that’s why..sad isn’t?
maybe he’s refering to type 1 diabetes? i got type 1 when i was 11
I get that he says that you get diabetes from not taking care of yourself, but can’t help but ask about the babies that are born with it?? They haven’t even had a chance at a bad lifestyle?
