I’m a recovered alcoholic myself. My journey in life through active addiction and the awakening I have experienced these past 18 months is something I can very much relate to the shamanic experience. I prefer more non-intrusive methods at present like holotropic breathwork, drumming, trance dancing etc. But I certainly wouldn’t discredit the use of Ayahuasca in the future.
