    @softshock9 Vegetables aren’t expensive. If you want to buy ready made food, then yes, healthier is more expensive.

    Genetics are not the main reason why people are fat, A few cases maybe but the key reason is lifestyle.

    Less physical activity and more consumption of foods that are high in fat and sugar and low in fiber and protein.

    If you take in more energy than you expend each day you will gain weight.

    I think the government should issue food rations.

  13. theporksicle says:

    I find it difficult to believe obesity is not caused by genes to some degree, as you see people who are extremely overweight who are disciplined in other areas of life. Likewise you see complete layabouts who are skinny.

    But I hope that guy gets a six pack again, he is a ninja he will make it
    I just dont understand how you can get soooo fat
    how can those ppl resist the urge to ride a bike, take a swim, run, soccer, football, baseball, tennis,…
    what do those fat ppl do all day? I do hang with friends or sports in all my free time, almost no tv or pc
    All you have to do is run at least 5k every day and do pushups and sit ups and pullups

    Fatty (and delicious..mmm) foods can be extremely addictive and most addicts (drug or alcohol for eg) can’t quit by themselves. A drug addict is more more likely to get help though. Think about it..they both hurt themselves with their addiction, they both can’t help themselves, but there is far more support for the drug addict than the obese person. I don’t think that’s right ..and I don’t think all the “just shut up and stop eating” attitude is right either. These people need help not insults.

  23. abdulbade says:

    @softshock9

    thank you!!! fast food is cheaper than eating salmon and ovcado

  24. softshock9 says:

    @sarinam2067

    Oh I agree that it’s no excuse. I was just answering the guy who asked where they get the money to pay for all the food. Certainly there are cheap AND healthy alternatives and the responsibility lies with the consumer, but it’s very easy to get a hold of food that’s very bad for you.

  25. sarinam2067 says:

    Thats not an excuse. people are addicted to food. they can find food that healthy and cheap. they just choose not to. no body is making them buy anything so the only person they can blame is themselves.
